On this day we have booked out the cameras and required
equipment as we’re going on a shoot tomorrow. I and my group are heading to our
local Police Station so we can obtain some quality and realistic footage of
Police circumstances in order to enhance the atmospheric element of the
interview with a Police Constable in our documentary. We know exactly what we
want to capture so there shouldn’t be any complications running parallel with
this shoot. We need to obtain cutaway visuals to break up the interview and
ensure the smooth running of the overall narrative within our documentary.
A quick update is needed and it is true to say that our
filming is going well so far and we are indeed on schedule to meet the final
practical deadline. So far we have conducted all our main interviews and shot
various scenes consisting of the Tribesmen applying his tribal face paint for
the cuts throughout the documentary. Although we haven’t finished filming this,
filming will resume this week to complete this particular mis-en-scene. In
addition, we are currently at the stage of deciding what reconstructing footage
is required to accompany our archive footage and filming for this should take
place within the space of the next couple of weeks. We are doing well if I do
say so myself.
On another note and in other news, one of our group members
hasn’t been particularly productive as he has not created one group blog and
hasn’t legitimately contributed anything significant to the groups working. As
a result a decision has to be made, but that time is not yet...
